I have a had a long and successful career in banking. I am a former COO/CFO of an 8 figure international e-commerce and distribution company; owner of a few businesses; created, managed, and led very successful sales teams; and I have worked with business owners and business of all sizes for my entire career as a business and management consultant
I am not some Social Media guy who bought into some fancy business guru process you find on the internet then fly out to Vegas over a long weekend to be certified an expert on the key to success
In fact, the only thing I am an expert of is that I'm a student of business, sales, finance, and life.
Therefore my certifications comes from not only someone who has seen and done it, but also from someone who has also failed at it.
However, in case you were wondering, I have a BS from Eastern Illinois University, presently obtaining my
iMBA from the University of Illinois, and I have certifications in Understanding Financial Statements: Company Position, Financial Accounting: Advanced Topics, and Financial Accounting: Foundations from the University of Illinois as well. I have completed courses in Awareness and CashCOR, Credit Risk Identification, Initial Credit Education Curriculum, Uncovering Cash, and the Omega Performance Financial Accounting for Lenders. Northwestern University has certified me in Organizational Leadership Structure and West Virginia University has given me a certificate in Forensic Accounting. I am a QuickBooks Pro Advisor and I have a certification as a Social Media Marketing Professional as well as a Digital Marketing "Blueprint Certificate" from Facebook. I have attended and graduated from the Cohen Brown Extraordinary Sales Leadership training program and received the MZ Bierly Sales Management Certification.
Now that we have critiqued my resume let me tell you about business. When it comes to business, the one reoccurring theme I have discovered, especially as a business consultant, is in every one of the businesses that I have worked with, for, and with my own past experiences is that every one of the owner's, including myself, didn't know what they didn't know.
Additionally, every one of them, including myself, was too prideful to admit that they DIDN'T KNOW!
For what it's worth, as I mentioned, you, they, and I are not alone. My own pride and ego would and has prevented me from admitting this, and I would refuse help when I was struggling with my own performance, personal issues, team projects, or leadership.
I would never EVER ask for help, so when I was struggling, I just simply put my nose to the grind and tried to pound it out myself.
How stupid and insane was that?
I and many people want and expect different results but we continue to bang our heads against the wall over and over expecting something different.
It's frustrating and as I reflect back on my banking career, I witnessed so many other owners and business leaders sharing this same issue.
In fact it was a dilemma that was a reoccurring theme that negatively impacted their sanity, health, relationships, business and their brands.
Here is the truth:

- If you knew how to improve your profits to over $1M, your anxiety would be nonexistent.
